Welcome to The Gab!
Greetings and salutations! This is Guinea Pig Gab, a space dedicated to showcasing the cutest and happiest creatures on the planet! I wanted to dedicate my own little corner online where I could help others understand what actually goes into caring for these little guys, as well as introduce my very own to the world!
I've long felt that there was a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to owning guinea pigs. While the amount of information and the number of helpful resources about these animals have grown significantly in recent years, I still believe a better world is possible for them and I want to make a mark in whatever way I can!
I myself am just one person who has only been part of the guinea pig world for about 5 years, and I'm still learning something new daily. But I like to think I've amassed a modest wealth of knowledge over that time, and I want to pass that knowledge along to others (: I also wanted to keep things fun and put my own unique stylistic spin, which is why this looks place looks the way it does. Since I'm still getting this thing built and off the ground, there will probably be some bugs and things that don't fully work, so bear with me :-)

This is the heart and soul of the site, where I regularly share observations, reflections, and guidance I've acquired during my time advocating for guinea pigs.
To help make sense of this place and answer some of the most common questions you may have, I've created this section to help explain!
I hope to build some sense of community through this site. I want to prioritize other sites I'm connected to that I know advocate for piggies, and as I discover more, I will be adding more buttons here. I'm also happy to feature your site, even if it isn't about piggies; just reach out!
